How'd I pick the name Butterflies, you ask? Two reasons. First, my grandmother always loved butterflies. She had those colorful, 3-d ones you see on the front of people's houses, she had butterfly brooches, vases, pictures, stationery, and just about anything else that comes in 'butterfly'. And second, I have a small butterfly tattoo on my right ankle and I think it's kinda purty.
On my sidebar, I've added links to sites and blogs I frequent. I'll add more as I think of them. Also, if you'd like yours added, let me know in a comment. If I link you, I'd appreciate the same in return. :)
To answer your questions. Our town is around 20,000 as well. But there are three other towns in the area with populations ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 so we have a small metro area with a total population of around 150,000. When we moved here in '87 the population of the town was about 7,000. The growth has exploded in the past 7 years.
